Friday August 23, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Katie hears that Bill isn’t Luna’s father, Luna realizes what Steffy saw, and Li assures Bill she didn’t fix the test.
Steffy’s jaw dropped when she caught Luna kissing Bill, and Taylor tore into Brooke, then Hope.
At Bill’s, Steffy eavesdrops as Luna tells Bill how great he is. How could any woman not fall for him?
She’s shocked when she sees Luna kiss Bill. He pushes her back defensively.
He told her she can’t kiss him like that, even if he’s not her father.
Pacing off to adjust her eyeliner, she tells him she’s never met a man like him. He’s like a missing piece.
As she looks in the mirror, she spots Steffy hiding in the hall.
Bill reminds Luna he offered to get her some help in her time of turmoil. He only wants to help her like a father would.
She announces she needs to take care of something. Steffy hides and Luna exits.
After Bill wanders off, Steffy sneaks out, leaving her phone behind.
Bill calls Li over. When she arrives, he explains that he re-tested the paternity twice and the tests came back negative.
Li is shocked and says she had no idea the tests were faulty. He asks if she manipulated the tests.
She promises that she would never do something so unethical. She would not help her sister and even offers to take a polygraph test to prove it.
Bill believes her but someone must have rigged the test. Li knows her sister is a gold-digger, but not a killer.
He wonders why anyone would set up Poppy.
Luna rushes back to the old apartment, worrying that Steffy must have seen her kiss Bill.
Steffy stalks in after her and declares she knows what she’s up to. “What are you talking about?” asks Luna.
After she explains Bill isn’t her father, Steffy asks her about the kiss.
As Luna pours them drinks, Steffy tells her to look inside and realize what she did was wrong, no matter how confused she is right now.
Luna is sure she thinks she’s a “nut job” and she feels mortified. Maybe it was just a transference of feelings?
Steffy asks about Poppy and RJ. She doesn’t know who Luna is.
Steffy drinks the ice tea.
Luna purses her lips. She keeps trying to rationalize why she kissed Bill and says her feelings are all over the place since her mom might be a killer.
Steffy thinks that Luna is acting out of character. She was living with RJ and now Bill. That’s quite the rise.
She figures out that Poppy had a lot to lose if Tom was Luna’s dad. She had a lot to lose too.
Her future is set. This is all starting to make sense to her.
She accuses Luna of wanting Bill for herself. When she asks how far she would go, Luna doesn’t say anything.
“You did it. You killed Tom and Hollis!” Steffy realizes. Luna smiles.
Steffy suddenly becomes woozy, her eyes blur, and she looks down at her glass.
The empty glass falls and Steffy collapses onto the floor.
Luna looks down at her.

In the Forrester Creations office, Brooke doesn’t seem elated to hear that Taylor is back. It’s too bad she returned just in tome to hear that hope kissed Finn.
Ridge makes it clear that this kiss is a big deal and she assures him that she will take care of her daughter.
RJ rushes in and announces that Bill isn’t Luna’s father after all. The paternity test wasn’t legit.
Katie rushes in with a new paternity test.
They tell her that a new paternity test was run and Luna is not Bill’s daughter.
Katie guesses this was all part of Poppy’s master plan to get to Bill’s wealth.
They wonder where this leaves Luna. RJ says she’s very vulnerable.
Katie is glad the killer is behind bars and Brooke thinks ehr sister could have been next.
Katie declares that Bill and Luna are the victims in this. They all feel so bad for Luna since she’s come to love Bill.
Katie doesn’t blame Luna for anything but these are odd circumstances. RJ wants to help but she’s insisted on staying with Bill.
“Poppy killing Tom and Hollis is just surreal,” says Deacon.
“Glad that maniac is out of Bill’s life,” says Katie.
“I swear to you that I am innocent,” Poppy tells Bill in the jail.
“She’s gone,” Finn announces.
“‘Gone’? What does that mean?” asks Ridge.
“My wife left town,” Finn explains.
“Where am I” Steffy wonders as she wakes up in a cage with Luna looming over her.
